JP GETTY MUSEUM, LOS ANGELES.

DAY 8 OF LALA TOUR! Flowers in the Gardens at the Getty Museum!

Today is mostly filled with the Getty Museum. It takes more than a day to see everything. We did it in 4 hours. The Getty Museum opened only two years ago. The last time we were here it was not open yet. It cost over 2 Billion to finish and that does not include the land (a mountain top in L.A.).

Kris' favorite! Sushi Lunch on the way to the Getty. We woke up late and returned our rental car. Glenn is letting us use his car. We then had to run some errands for Debra. Then Sushi Lunch on the way to the Getty Museum. {short description of image}

At the Getty you park at the bottom of a mountain and you take a tram to the top. No parking at the Museum itself.

GETTY MUSEUM CACTUS GARDEN

You will see many pictures of the Garden here for two reasons... 1. The lighting was bad and we do not take pictures inside Museums with a flash and 2. The Gardens are spectacular and the art at the Getty is So-So...
