DAY 2 IN SAN DIEGO! An early morning view of San Diego from our Hotel Window!

After recovering from our very busy day yesterday and our evening in Mexico, we awoke to a beautiful day in San Diego. It was off to explore Balboa Park. The Second Largest Park in the United States. We do not know what the biggest is... Being from NYC we assume it is Central Park!

Balboa Park, San Diego. Picture of the Museum of Man. The Park was made in the early 1900's for a California Fair. The buildings were built to show off San Diego to the visiting California Public. They were made is classic Mexican/Spanish Style and they house several Museums. After the Califonia Fair, San Diego doubled in size. {short description of image}

A Flower in Balboa Park! Flowers are the size of Softballs in California. (Kris says they are the size of Dinner Plates...)
